Luke is internationally known for his innovative theatre workshops and the application of theatre to social issues. He has run workshops on Shakespeare in the townships of South Africa, on trance performance in England, on the acting of gender in North America, on development issues in the displaced peoples’ camps in North Sudan, on performance skills in Malawi, on post-conflict resolution in Kosovo, and on devising in Brazil. He has led workshops on text and theatre skills in schools and colleges around the world.
