Deal Castle 1991

Christopher Marlowe’s most popular play will be performed this year in Deal Castle. Audiences will be able to journey with Faustus as Mephistopheles takes him on a tour of temptation around the world. Directed by Luke Dixon with extraordinary sets and costumes by Annabel Lee, the production will exploit to the full the spectacular possibilities afforded by the castle with appearances by, amongst others, Helen of Troy, the Pope and the Seven Deadly Sins.
